This series of videos is intended to educate you on how to install several applications onto an Amazon Fire TV Stick including Kodi, Fire Starter, and Addon Installer using ADB Fire from on a Windows computer. This first video shows you how to prepare your Stick for use with ADB Fire.
Kodi is a media hub where you can install a wide variety of custom applications, many of which are used for free video and audio streaming services such as movies and music.
Fire Starter is an alternative home menu to the original Fire TV Stick one. It also allows some modification of how buttons act and which apps are loaded first. I use Fire Starter to load Kodi when I start the Stick as well as changed the default Home Button click to load Kodi and Home Button double-click to load the default menu. This application is completely optional.
ADB Fire is a computer program for Windows that allows you to manipulate your Fire TV Stick over the local internet connection. In the next video I show you how to transfer Android applications (APKs) as well as another application type of application using ADB Fire. I prefer this method because it's easier for me to browse the internet on my computer and download the files I need and then transfer them to the Stick than it is to do everything through the stick.
I know that nothing is really 'Hacked' in this process, I'm just using that word as a shortened description to put this process into layman's terms.
