Since my last video Google has since patched being able to install third party apps that work with Android Auto. So watching YouTube videos on Android Auto has become harder but it's not impossible.

If you are still wanting to know how to watch YouTube videos in your car then be sure to watch the video above. The process consists of using Android Auto v2.9 and using Google Services v12.2 and back. Anything after these numbers will nor result in Android watching youtube videos with the carstream app. Who else can't wait to use Google's new Android Chat! I am using Android Auto in my 2016 Ford Focus ST. Android Auto is running on my OnePlus 5T running android 8.1 oreo.
