In this episode, I am going to my Mazda dealership to get Mia updated with the new Android auto/Apple carplay option from Mazda
And I also had a look at the This is a video showing the installation procedures for the new auxiliary hub and cables to get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay running on a 2017 - 2018 Mazda .

My note 8 worked fine and my moto z2 force worked fine, now my note 9 not so much

In this episode, I am going to my Mazda dealership to get Mia updated with the new Android auto/Apple carplay option from Mazda. And I also had a look at the new Mazda 6 while I was waiting for my infotainment to update.

The simple steps for this install were:
- updating the infotainment
- take apart the need interior pieces
- install the new USB module and run the new wires to the infotainment unit.
- put everything back together

I you have the tools to update your nav this install is doable by yourself, otherwise you should have it done by your dealer.
In my opinion this install is not that expensive either way.
